ASRock Industrial announces IoT controller


                            ASRock, an industrial computing firm based in Taipei, Taiwan, has announced its iEP-5010G Industrial IoT Controller series, whose members are designed to be fanless, durable units with applications across edge computing, industrial use cases, smart city and digital signage applications and more, according to a press release.

                           The fanless unit is powered by Intel x6000E (Elkhart Lake-PU) processors and rated for conditions from -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit to 158 degrees Fahrenheit.)

                            The units include TPM 2.0 for security along with shock- and vibration-resistant engineering, and models include a variety of power, input, networking and storage options along with a variety of mounting types for various applications.
